Servicios de La Raza’s mission is to build and cultivate a thriving Colorado Latino community in which all members have the opportunities, and the support systems to achieve equity, self-sufficiency, and self-determination to lead a healthy quality of life. 

About:

  • Servicios is committed to continuing to provide the essential services to our community, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, creed, or documentation status.

These programs include:

  • Behavioral health resources including counseling, therapy, substance abuse counseling, and DUI levels I and II education.
  • Health Access resources including health insurance enrollment, preventative health services through our Ventanilla De Salud located in the Mexican consulate, AIDS drug assistance program through our La Gente program, and free vaccines through our mobile vaccine clinic.
  • Victim advocacy through our VISTAS program which includes moral support, assistance with divorce, child custody, and protection orders paperwork
  • Our Basic Emergency Services program also provides food baskets for families by appointment. We are also partnered with A Precious Child and can make appointments for families needing baby clothes.

For any services not listed or provided by Servicios, our case managers are able to refer and connect clients with outside CBO’s or resources that may be able to fulfill the need.

You will also have access to free preventive health screenings (varies by location), free vaccinations, a chance to talk to a medical professional one-on-one, and an opportunity to get more information on a range of health topics.

La Cocina provides full access to traditional and nontraditional forms of mental health and health equity support services for the Latinx immigrant community.

Food Access – ASC COS

The Accompaniment and Sanctuary Coalition Colorado Springs (ASC COS) can help connect clients to free pantries in the Pikes Peak Region.

Low-cost Immigration Services – Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities represent clients in a variety of immigration processes, including U Visas, T Visas, VAWA, family petitions, consular processing, DACA, adjustment of status, green card renewals, and citizenship.

Disability Support and Education Services-El Grupo Vida Colorado

El Grupo VIDA is a network of Hispanic/Latino parents formed to provide mutual support for people with disabilities or special needs, their parents, family, and guardians.

Trauma & Disaster Recovery Clinic at DU

The Trauma & Disaster Recovery Clinic (TDRC) provides psychological support to individuals and communities who have experienced stress, adversity and/or trauma. We utilize an integrative, need and strengths-based approach that is culturally informed. Our services are continually evaluated to ensure effectiveness and are not restricted by status.

Intellectual and Developmental Disability Programs- Imagine!

Imagine! offers services to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Some programs are offered regardless of immigration status.

No Cost Mental Wellbeing Support for Immigrants – DCAC

Our Immigrant Family Initiative provides mental health services specifically to families and children who are experiencing trauma or stress as a result of their immigration status or situation.
