Food Box Delivery Service

Benefits in Action delivers food boxes containing non-perishable and fresh foods to those living in the Denver metro area who are unable to acquire food on their own.

About Benefits in Action:

  • Benefits in Action is a nonprofit organization located in Lakewood, Colorado that serves individuals throughout the state. We strive to increase understanding, access, and utilization of healthcare resources. Our team of navigators works with individuals to help them recognize the health-related benefits they qualify for, apply to those benefits, and utilize them as effectively as possible. We are passionate about the importance of increasing healthcare benefit literacy among the public. Accordingly, we organize and hold educational sessions in public facilities aimed to increase individual understanding and self-efficacy in navigating the healthcare system.

About the Food Delivery Service:

  • Benefits in Action currently delivers food to individuals and families in the Denver-Metro area. If you live outside of Denver-Metro you can still submit a request. Someone from their team will reach out and connect you with resources in your area.

  • Food boxes are filled with non-perishables, household staples, fresh produce, dairy products, and meat products. Each food box is meant to last about one week.

Qualifications:

  • Must live in the Denver Metro area, and
  • be home-bound or food insecure.

The Accompaniment and Sanctuary Coalition Colorado Springs (ASC COS) can help connect clients to free pantries in the Pikes Peak Region.

Bondadosa believe’s that delivering fresh meals can help students learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential! We’ve brought thousands of meal boxes to students throughout the Denver area and are excited to deliver many more!

Colorado’s Human Trafficking Hotline is a 24/7 hotline and resource directory managed by the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking, a Colorado-based nonprofit organization. Colorado’s Human Trafficking Hotline is a survivor-informed resource created to connect individuals experiencing exploitation, individuals reporting potential human trafficking tips, and service providers in search of referral resources with available support services in a safe and anonymous manner.
