Free and Reduced Cost Legal Aid

The Justice Center provides free legal aid in the Pikes Peak region. We prioritize help for immigrants in Colorado, regardless of citizenship or immigration status. Clients can obtain free legal advice at our clinics or free or reduced cost representation in court. The Justice Center also offers educational resources on family law, housing law, and immigration law.

Clinics are available every Wednesday night from 7 – 9 pm, MST.

Call (719) 473-6212 to participate.

Your call will first be screened in order to connect you to an attorney best able to answer your question. You will then be connected to a volunteer attorney who will provide brief legal advice on your situation.

Qualifications:

  • Jurisdiction in El Paso or Teller County
  • Household income below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line for the Pro Bono Program (free representation)
  • Household income below 275% of the Federal Poverty Line for the Modest Means Program (reduced cost representation)
  • Employment law, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases will not be considered
  • Criminal cases are only considered for our Modest Means Program
  • Contested probate cases are only considered for our Modest Means Program
  • Post-decree cases must meet our priorities (listed above) for consideration

MotherWise empowers women and their families to thrive during pregnancy and after a new baby is born.

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery is a SAMHSA Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic offering services to address a wide range of mental health conditions. Individuals and families rely on us to help them cope with a variety of challenges. Our staff of physicians, nurses, psychologists, therapists, and peers works with all age groups, from children to seniors.

Servicios De La Raza

Servicios is committed to continuing to provide the essential services to our community, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, creed, or documentation status. These programs include:

Behavioral health resources including counseling, therapy, substance abuse counseling, and DUI levels I and II education.

Grief Counseling Services- Judi’s House

Judi’s House provides support to children and families grieving a death. Services are provided to youth ages 3 to 25, and their families at no charge.
