MSU Denver Family Literacy Program offers English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for adults in the Adams County area.

MSU Denver Family Literacy Program offers English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for adults in the Adams County area.

Offerings include online and in-person classes that follow the school district calendar.

Also available are High-School Equivalency courses (GED) offered in both English and Spanish.

Integrated Education and Training courses are offered once per semester; they include Parent to Para (Paraprofessional), Home Health Aide, and general Workforce Readiness.

All courses are offered free of charge to community members.

AMA is a student organization at Colorado College (Colorado Springs) dedicated to assisting community students whose parents in many cases do not speak English fluently and are unable to help their children with their homework. AMA provides weekly tutoring sessions in English and Spanish, to help students from Middle-School and High-School to improve their speaking, reading, writing, and homework skills. Adding to this, AMA also provides children with fun educational activities, snacks, and transportation accommodation when necessary. We aim to decrease obstacles to access educational resources while trying to help student learn through friendship and various activities.
