The Rocky Mountain Immigration Advocacy Network (RMIAN)

 

RMIAN provides free immigration legal services to immigrant children and to adults in immigration detention. 

Immigrant Detention Program Serves

RMIAN provides services to refugees, and asylum seekers held at the immigration detention center in Aurora, Colorado. RMIAN attorneys conduct daily “Know Your Rights” presentations, complete individual intakes, provide self-help workshops, and provide pro bono (free) representation to detained adults.

Immigrant Children’s Program

RMIAN provides free immigration legal services to abused, abandoned, and neglected children and vulnerable families in removal proceedings before the Denver Immigration Court. The Children’s Program attorney complete intakes for children and families, and provide pro bono representation for low-income individuals.

RMIAN is a nonprofit organization that serves low-income adults and children in immigration proceedings. RMIAN promotes knowledge of legal rights, provides effective representation to ensure due process, works to improve detention conditions, and promotes a more humane immigration system, including alternatives to detention.

Behavioral health resources including counseling, therapy, substance abuse counseling, and DUI levels I and II education.

Low-cost Immigration Services – Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities represent clients in a variety of immigration processes, including U Visas, T Visas, VAWA, family petitions, consular processing, DACA, adjustment of status, green card renewals, and citizenship.

Free and Reduced Cost Legal Advice- The Justice Center

The Justice Center provides free legal aid in the Pikes Peak region. We prioritize help for immigrants in Colorado, regardless of citizenship or immigration status. Clients can obtain free legal advice at our clinics or free or reduced cost representation in court. The Justice Center also offers educational resources on family law, housing law, and immigration law.

High School Student Support – J2C

Juntos 2 College prepares undocumented high school seniors for career success by supporting them through the DACA application process and the entrepreneurial process in order to earn income legally.
