El Grupo Vida Colorado

El Grupo Vida Colorado is a non-profit organization whose work consists of providing support, education and resources to Hispanic/Latino families on issues of disability, special education, community leadership and guardianship for all families who love members with different abilities, no matter your immigration status.

We offer services in Spanish to the local communities. The majority of our services are provided by parents and volunteers who have many years of experience supporting their families and their children.

Support Groups

Designed to connect members of the community that have experienced similar situations regarding the care and loving a person with special needs. Join us on the second Saturdays at 12:30 and the third Wednesdays at 5:30 PM.

In order to ring relevant information to the community and empower members, we provide a variety of workshops :

Individuals and families rely on us to help them cope with a variety of challenges. Our staff of physicians, nurses, psychologists, therapists, and peers works with all age groups, from children to seniors.

No Cost Mental Wellbeing Support for Immigrants – DCAC

Our Immigrant Family Initiative provides mental health services specifically to families and children who are experiencing trauma or stress as a result of their immigration status or situation.

La Cocina provides full access to traditional and nontraditional forms of mental health and health equity support services for the Latinx immigrant community.

Servicios De La Raza

Servicios is committed to continuing to provide the essential services to our community, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, creed, or documentation status. These programs include:

Behavioral health resources including counseling, therapy, substance abuse counseling, and DUI levels I and II education.

Grief Counseling Services- Judi’s House

Judi’s House provides support to children and families grieving a death. Services are provided to youth ages 3 to 25, and their families at no charge.
