The Outreach United Resource Center, Inc. (OUR Center)

The Outreach United Resource Center, Inc. (OUR Center) has provided critical services such as food, housing, and utilities to help families achieve self-reliance since 1986. We offer “a hand up, not a hand out” to residents of the St. Vrain Valley School District of Colorado.

OUR Center’s Mission

The mission of the OUR Center is that
“We help people move toward Self-Sufficiency by unifying community resources”.

It is the intent of the OUR Center to serve without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, marital status, military status, political belief, genetic information, mental or physical disability, or any other protected status by applicable state or local law, always keeping in mind that each person must be respected for who she/he is, and that no person is unworthy of our help. We will keep a strict code of confidentiality, thereby insuring that the reputation and self-esteem of the client is preserved to the best of our ability. The staff shall be aware of and sensitive to the cultures of the clients we serve as well as to their diversity.

The OUR Center shall adhere to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and impartiality in all its dealings with the clients, its donors and supporters, and the community at large.

We serve the geographic boundary of the entire St. Vrain Valley School District.

Grief Counseling Services- Judi’s House

Judi’s House provides support to children and families grieving a death. Services are provided to youth ages 3 to 25, and their families at no charge.

Trauma & Disaster Recovery Clinic at DU

The Trauma & Disaster Recovery Clinic (TDRC) provides psychological support to individuals and communities who have experienced stress, adversity and/or trauma. We utilize an integrative, need and strengths-based approach that is culturally informed. Our services are continually evaluated to ensure effectiveness and are not restricted by status.

Collaborating with Denver’s multicultural community to create equitable opportunities for learning, discovery, and connection.

Mental & General Health Support Services

La Cocina provides full access to traditional and nontraditional forms of mental health and health equity support services for the Latinx immigrant community.
