Requirements

These resources are available to any individual in the State of Colorado, regardless of immigration status. Some online services may require a library card to access and we can provide one to you for free, after confirming your ID and address. If you do not have a valid ID or stable address, we can provide you with temporary access.

Focus Points – Family Support Services

Focus Points Family Resource Center provides diverse programming for families, including Adult Education, Early Childhood programs, Family Support Services, WorkForce, and much more.

MSU Denver Family Literacy Program

MSU Denver Family Literacy Program offers English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for adults in the Adams County area. Offerings include online and in-person classes that follow the school district calendar. Also available are High-School Equivalency courses (GED) offered in both English and Spanish. Integrated Education and Training courses are offered once per semester; they include Parent to Para (Paraprofessional), Home Health Aide, and general Workforce Readiness. All courses are offered free of charge to community members.

Grief Counseling Services- Judi’s House

Judi’s House provides support to children and families grieving a death. Services are provided to youth ages 3 to 25, and their families at no charge.

Career and Employment Workshops and Coaching- Mi Casa

Our Career Pathways program teaches job-seekers the skills they need to succeed in today’s workplace through workshops, intensive career readiness and industry specific training, 1-on-1 career coaching, and connection to higher education.

Family Resources – FIRC

Located in Summit County, Colorado, FIRC works to strengthen local families through education and financial resources. We believe strong sustainable families are the key to a strong and healthy community. We focus on families with dependent children, seniors, and people with disabilities.

The New America School

The New America School (NAS) is a system of public charter high schools dedicated to serving a unique population – recent immigrants and their families and children who want to learn or perfect English and earn a high school diploma, non-traditional students, and traditional students seeking a more personal atmosphere that fits their learning needs.

Youth Empowerment Programs- INSPiRE

The mission of INSPiRE is to ignite, train, and invest in youth to become Change Agents in their schools, families and communities.

Adult English Education

Students learn the skills needed to read, write and speak in English at levels necessary to function in a job, in the family and in society.
