Low-Cost and Free Screenings at Health Fairs
Register online or walk in day of to receive affordable, high-quality health screenings of your choice. You will also have access to free preventive health screenings (varies by location), free vaccinations, a chance to talk to a medical professional one-on-one, and an opportunity to get more information on a range of health topics.
Clinica Colorado
Since June 2011, Clinica Colorado has served populations in Adams County and surrounding areas with low cost, primary health care, especially for those who are uninsured. In Colorado, it is estimated that there remain 350,000 without health insurance even after the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. There may be many reasons that individuals and families are not covered by health insurance and that is who we serve.
Since we opened, we have had over 44,000 patient visits! Our goal is to serve individuals of all ages, including entire families.
MSU Denver Family Literacy Program
MSU Denver Family Literacy Program offers English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for adults in the Adams County area. Offerings include online and in-person classes that follow the school district calendar. Also available are High-School Equivalency courses (GED) offered in both English and Spanish. Integrated Education and Training courses are offered once per semester; they include Parent to Para (Paraprofessional), Home Health Aide, and general Workforce Readiness. All courses are offered free of charge to community members.

The New America School
The New America School (NAS) is a system of public charter high schools dedicated to serving a unique population – recent immigrants and their families and children who want to learn or perfect English and earn a high school diploma, non-traditional students, and traditional students seeking a more personal atmosphere that fits their learning needs.

If you are age 60+, have no dental coverage, and are low income and a Colorado resident, you may qualify for free or low-cost dental care.

AMA – Aprender Mediante Amistad
AMA is a student organization at Colorado College (Colorado Springs) dedicated to assisting community students whose parents in many cases do not speak English fluently and are unable to help their children with their homework. AMA provides weekly tutoring sessions in English and Spanish, to help students from Middle-School and High-School to improve their speaking, reading, writing, and homework skills. Adding to this, AMA also provides children with fun educational activities, snacks, and transportation accommodation when necessary.
